“This course changed my life. I am so grateful to have found Kathryn’s podcasts which led me to this course. In the depths of my eating disorder, I had no hope and thought I would never get better. After taking this course, I feel like a new person and know I will continue to live a binge-free life.”  -Susan

If you are ready to stop binge eating, this course will give you the extra help you need.
It’s clear that some people need more than a book or podcast to end bulimia and binge eating disorder, but personalized support from an expert is expensive and often out of reach.
This is why I put all of the advice and encouragement I’ve given over the years into an affordable and accessible format.

When you enroll, you get all 8 lessons right away, and you can go through the course at a pace that works for you.

“This course is exactly what I needed to hear! I’ve read countless books on the BED-topic (including Brain over Binge) before, without any success. The course is full of deep insights and packed with valuable and practical information. I really appreciate the rational and organized form everything is presented. I’m exceedingly thankful for the course – it has really changed my life!“ – Justin

When you enroll, you will get access to the private, members-only course website. You’ll receive all 8 lessons right away on the website, and clear instructions on how to use the course successfully. You’ll always know the specific concepts and goals you are working on.

Each lesson contains the following resources (in order), which you can use at your own pace:

Welcome Audio – a brief audio that explains what to expect from each lesson and how to get the most out of it.

Audio Lesson – your fundamental guide for each lesson that teaches you the main concepts and ideas that will help you end the binge eating habit.

Worksheets – each lesson has at least two worksheets, which are aimed at helping you have your own insights and apply what you’re learning.

Coaching Audios – designed to help you stay focused, motivated, encouraged, and on the path to recovery.

Tips and Advice – written messages from Kathryn on the course website that contain practical recovery advice, tips, and encouragement.

Q&A Audios – address a wide variety of questions that may come up for you as you go through the course.

Extensive Q&A Recordings – appear in the 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th lesson. These recordings address 8 or 9 questions or issues you may have, and are approximately 1 hour each.

You can explore and sample some of these resources in the Free Preview.

If you sign up for the course, you do not need to purchase the books. The course contains all of the information you need, and guides you in a structured way.  You can still benefit from reading the books, but I’ve created the course so that you can use it whether or not you’ve read the books.

You will have access to the private course website for as long as it is available, which I hope will be for many years. I do not have any plans to change the course in the future (aside from possible small improvements that you’ll get access to). However, I do not believe that promising “lifetime” access is realistic, considering the ever-evolving, changing, and unpredictable nature of life and technology. If I need to end the course in the future, you will still get at least 1 year of access from the date you purchased. I will also give you 2 weeks notice if I ever decide to change or replace an audio or worksheet, so that you can download and save it first.

The course is based around the same concepts as the books and podcast, but it’s designed to guide you in a more incremental way, so that you can better apply the concepts in your own life. The audio lessons take the most important information from the books and podcast and break it down for you in a way that is accessible and practical. Most people learn better with a structured and guided approach, but you know yourself best, so use what works for you!

The course also contains 84 Q&A audios, and many of the topic discussed are not covered at all in the books or podcast, and if they are, the discussions in the Q&A audios are more detailed and relatable to your own situation. In these course Q&As, I believe I’ve answered every question I’ve been asked over my years of helping binge eaters. The Q&A audios are very practical because you can find a question you have at any time of day or night (on the Q&A page), and click on the audio to get an answer when you need it.  Most people find this to be much more convenient than trying to find an answer in a 300+ page book or somewhere in a podcast episode.

In the course, you also get 15 coaching audios to keep you focused and motivated, including a coaching audio to help you when you are feeling the urge to binge. There are 115 total audios throughout the course, so if you are someone who learns well with audio, or if you like to listen while doing other things you need to do, then the course could be a great fit for you. (There are also written transcripts for each audio).

Although the approach in the course is fundamentally the same as it is in the books and podcast, the value is in the structure, guidance, ease of use, detail, Q&A audios, and coaching audios. I’ve had so many people tell me that even though they read the books or listened to the podcast, the course gave them the extra help they needed to end binge eating for good.

The course is for people who want to stop binge eating, and need some extra help. It is only for individuals 18 years of age or older, who are not suffering from complicating physical or mental health conditions, and who are not medically underweight or currently suffering from anorexia. The course is not intended to replace the services of trained health professionals or be a substitute for medical advice.

The course focuses primarily on binge eating, but people who struggle with overeating, yo-yo dieting, and emotional eating have also benefited from using the resources. Some of the audios address these other problematic eating behaviors, and because there is not always a clear distinction between certain eating habits, the same concepts can be useful. However, please know that this is a course to aimed at helping you stop binge eating.

The Brain over Binge Course does not offer private or group coaching. The course resources, especially the Q&A audios, provide a powerful and affordable alternative to one-on-one coaching. However, I realize that some people need more personalized support, so I would like to suggest Ali Kerr and her team at Binge Code Coaching. Although the Binge Code approach is not exactly the same as Brain over Binge, the two approaches are highly compatible, and I feel confident that Binge Code Coaching can give you the one-on-one support you need.  You can even do one-on-one coaching while you are progressing through the course.

The course also does not include any type of support group or interaction with other participants. The course resources are individually delivered so that you can stay focused on what you need to do, and stay on your own path to recovery.  If you are someone who benefits from peer support, know that Binge Code Coaching also includes access to a Facebook support community.

Yes. There are 15 coaching audios in the Brain over Binge course, including an audio that will help you in moments when you are feeling tempted to binge. You can also get these same 15 coaching audios separately, which is an option if you feel like you don’t need the whole course, but only some daily reinforcement and motivation from the coaching audios.

*From now until July 7th, 2020, when you purchase the coaching audios, you will also get Lesson 1 of the course for no extra charge. After July 7, 2020, the price of the coaching audios (plus Lesson 1) will go up from $31.99 to $49. Lesson 1 gives you a foundation in the Brain over Binge approach, which will help you use the coaching audios more effectively.

If you purchase the coaching audios, and then later decide to upgrade to the complete course, 100 percent of your payment for the coaching audios will be applied to the course price.

“This course hit the mark on so many fronts. It was well organized and easy to use. I loved all of the audio recordings, including the informational Q&As. Most importantly, it spoke to me and helped me to solidify my decision to stop bingeing. Every week I learned something new that deepened my resolve to quit bingeing and enhanced my understanding of this terrible habit. Thank you Kathryn! This course was a wonderful addition to your two books.” – Francis
