I’ve had a hard time with this decision, but I need to let everyone know that I can no longer send personal responses to emails, private Facebook messages, or Instagram direct. I love corresponding with readers and trying to do what I can to offer encouragement and support; so this saddens me. However, I simply can’t keep up at this point in my life. I’m raising 4 young kids who need so much of my time–time that I want to give to them. Thus far, I’ve been able to strike a balance by writing/corresponding primarily at night after they are sleeping, but I’ve gotten backed up to over a 1-month response time, and I don’t think that’s fair to anyone who contacts me.
I’m also trying to ramp up efforts on my new book, which will be self-help in nature (Brain over Binge was primarily my own story). I hoped to publish it by the end of this year, but realistically, it will probably be in early 2015.
To help those with additional questions after reading my book, I’ve just updated and added resources to my FAQ page . I hope it will address any issue you are concerned about. Also, I’ve tried to discuss common concerns in my blog posts, and I will continue to do that as much as I can.
