Blog on Hold

First of all, I want to say how much I appreciate anyone who has read and commented on my blog thus far and those who may read it in the future.

I am writing today to say that I need to put the blog on hold for several months during a very exciting and challenging time in my life. We are expecting our 4th child in early November, and from now until he arrives will be extremely busy. My family and I recently moved from an apartment to a house and we still have so much to do to get settled and prepared for a new baby. Also, I am homeschooling my 4 and 5 year old this year, which is time-consuming; and my 22-month-old is a handful just by herself:-) I am getting to that stage in pregnancy where I have no extra physical or mental energy, even when I do get a spare moment; and I know that likely won’t improve after the birth, due to sleep deprivation and all the demands of caring for a newborn.

The only time I currently have to write/respond to comments and emails is after my kids go to bed at night; and with a newborn, I won’t have that luxury until he starts sleeping for long stretches at night. So, when that happens, I’ll definitely pick up blogging again (I hope in about 6 months), and I hope to make many improvements to the blog at that time as well.  I truly appreciate your understanding as I focus on my family at this time.
